CANNONBALL ADDERLEY - BLUE NOTE 1595 'SOMETHIN' ELSE '

A truly excellent BLUE NOTE BLP 1595 MONO copy from 1963 featuring
MILES DAVIS, HANK JONES, SAM JONES and ART BLAKEY!

For offer is an early 1960's copy of 'SOMETHIN' ELSE' in EXCELLENT condition! Though a slightly later original BLUE NOTE pressing
the Record still has the double-sided deep groove with the later NEW YORK USA Label address for both sides. 


The Record bears the famous "Ear" stamp as well as the Rudy van Gelder "RVG" mark in the dead wax.
 Both sides of the Labels have the Registration "R" (please have a look at the images).

CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT-

The original BLUE NOTE pressing weighs 158g.

Both sides of the Vinyl are shiny & clean. There are absolutely no major defects, no groove wear, no feelable scratches or other blemishes visible!

There are only one or two faint superficial scuffs on each side. 

I play-graded the album and both sides of the Vinyl album play without sticks or any repeats! Just mild static between the tracks

and a few crackles here and there. 

All in all a very fine copy of an early re-press of this BLUE NOTE classic with both sides of the Vinyl in EXCELLENT- condition!

Labels: VERY GOOD++

Both deep grooved BLUE NOTE Labels have the later NEW YORK USA address plus the letter "R" to either side.

Cover: EXCELLENT

The heavy-duty original 1st press BLUE NOTE BLP 1595 Cover is in remarkable condition, bearing the 47 West 63rd Street, New York 23 address on the back panel!

The laminated front panel is in EXCELLENT+ condition, with no unwanted writing, not a single crease and all three seams intact – absolutely no splits!

The non-laminated back panel is in VERY GOOD+ condition, with minimal wear only, but unfortunately the original owner added some numbers & initials 

to the top in blue biro... (please have a look at the images).

I always stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see details below).

EXCELLENT

The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.

VERY GOOD

The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
