Description

CANYON -- Jumpin Jedadiah/A Day Like This -- obscure, original early 1970's U.S. 45 single.  Apparently unknown private press 45 by band with early 1970's Westcoast rock moves.  There's a strong connection to late-1960's Midwest hippie band Podipto on this:  both sides were produced by Podipto member Jack Sundrud (currently playing with Poco), and the songs were co-written by group member Wilson Roberts (A-side), and Roberts, Karen Lund and Mike Michalski (B-side).   A-side "Jumpin Jedadiah" is driving, greasy Westcoast country rocker with "He don't need to smoke no weed" lyrics, Skynyrd/Allman Bros.-type guitar and female vocals; B-side is Bread-style soft-rock ballad.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  VG+, light-to-moderate surface scuffs, black ink "x" on one side of label, overall clean, on blue Canyon private press label, U.S. pressing.  New International Shipping Rates:  Sorry about the higher rates, but the U.S. Post Office has just increased overseas shipping to a ridiculous degree!  INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING -  Albums:  1 LP - $20; 2 LP’s - $26; 3 LP’s -  $30.  INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - 45'S:  1-2 - $16; 3-4 - $20.  CANADA/MEXICO – 1 LP - $14. Please ask for an invoice after purchase if you’re buying multiple items to get the discounted shipping.
