Another very unusual item here..... from the Ben Dover, Inc. vaults......a reel to reel copy of CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and THE MAGIC BAND's unreleased "Bat Chain Puller" album from 1976. I assume these tapes were made from the casettes that were floating around the record companies at the time. According to the story Frank Zappa financed this album but did not want to release it. But as these songs sound so good they may have been made from the master tape....but I don't know that. You are bidding on two tapes, 7". NAB, Stereo (1/2 track), 7 1/2 ips speed. As the Capitol International A&R Director (1977-78) I found these tapes when I moved into my office at the Tower. And yes you will need a reel to reel tape to play this.
