CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & HIS MAGIC BAND

TROUT MASK REPLICA

2-LP set released on the Straight Records label in the UK in 1969.  Comes in a gatefold sleeve

Condition:
The records both have some very light surface marks that do not affect its playing.  There is a tiny scratch on the last track of side two of record one that is also not audible but can just about be felt with a fingertip.

Play grade:
Both of the records have been played through completely and sound great throughout.  They would probably benefit a little from a professional clean as there is a little background crackle in places.

Sounds a great deal better than any of the recent reissues that I have heard.

The sleeve sadly has not faired so well in its life with a tear on the opening edge, ring marking, edge scuffing and a one inch gouge on the front,  Text on the spine is obscured.

A great set if you are wanting it just for the records but if you are wanting a decent sleeve as well you will need to look elsewhere unfortunately
