Description
Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band "Lick My Decals Off, Baby" LP original 1970 first US pressing on Straight Records RS6420 with lyric insert (see photos). This is a true first pressing with the "smoke logo" on the cover and the Bizarre address in the radius printing on the label. Later issues had the Warner address on the label.
I purchased this record in 1970 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue.
The jacket is in "EX" condition with minor ringwear; no seam splits or cutout holes (see photos).
The vinyl is in "EX+" condition; it has been stored in a poly lined sleeve since purchase (see photos).
Vinyl grading is conservative and based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
