Description

Up for auction is an original press vinyl lp from the late, legendary CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & HIS MAGIC BAND for the classic debut album Safe As Milk
This album was released in 1967 on Buddha Records in the US (Stereo / BDS-5001).
This is indeed the first US pressing with the Red Buddha label.
 

Condition:
Vinyl is in strong, clean VG++ / EX grade condition!
Album Cover is overall great condition with some light standard corner/ edge wear. There is a small, circular piece of metal/copper placed/pushed in to the top left corner. I take it this was to serve the purpose of a "drill hole"/ possibly for promotional/advance purposes.
The often missing Insert inner sleeve (with juxtaposed band and baby artwork) is in excellent shape as well.
