Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band - Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller) Warner Bros BSK 3256
Original 1978 pressing
Includes printed inner sleeve featuring lyrics and band photos on one side and a drawing by Don Van Vliet (Captain Beefheart) on the other. Van Vliet's artwork is also featured on the album cover with his 1976 painting "Green Tom" on the front and a lunch bag drawing on the back.
This album features re-workings of material from the shelved "Bat Chain Puller" album, which was started in 1976 with Frank Zappa producing.
