SPECS:
+Out of print, gatefold, first US press on Blue Thumb Records!
+Record is not in the best condition (see gradings below), but this is a true collectors item as the LP has been signed by Don Van Vliet!
+Back cover reads (I believe): "Carol Nelson, love over gold. Van Vliet '78" in blue pen. Of course we cannot 100% guarantee that this is a real signature, but compared to other Van Vliet signatures, this appears very real. See picture for detail.
+Jacket is good. it is worn with ringwear and pretty severe wear on corners. Upper right corner of front part of gatefold is torn. Appears to have been a cutout LP, as there is a cutout "punchole" through upper right corner. Inner gatefold looks great. Back cover looks good aside from the wear and some creases. Spine is intact. Bottom AND top seams are almost completely split.
+LP is good. Both sides are covered with superficial marks/scratches. However, THERE ARE NO SKIPS and there is no extremely significant damage. The scratchmarks DO cause surface noise throughout almost the entire playback, a lot of crackle! But surface noise does not overpower the music, it's definitely listenable.
+Once again, this record is NOT IN GREAT CONDITION!! But, it is decent. You will be buying this mainly for the oddity of the signature! We're warning ya!
