Description

This is the original 1969 Straight Records issue of Trout Mask Replica. It is not a reissue, replica, etc. It is a super-rare DJ copy, so it's different from the commercially available version in that: it has a "PROMOTION - Not For Sale" sticker on the front cover (visible in photo) and says "Promo Not For Sale" in small print on the label on the records; the labels are white, instead of the pink and orange (or whatever they were) on the commercial version. The gatefold cover is in beautiful shape (see pictures). There is very faint ringing on the front cover, barely visible, just at the top and bottom. The back cover and two inside panels are impeccable. There is a tiny amount of crunching on the corners and no splits. Overall the jacket is VG+, conservatively.

The vinyl on both discs is M-. Not even slight hairlines. The records are in the original printed paper sleeves.

The original booklet is included; it looks like it was folded in half once; there is a vertical crease down the middle. Otherwise, it's clean, with no tearing, degradation, etc.

You are not likely to find another copy of this record in this kind of shape, with the booklet, let alone a DJ copy.
