Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

WOW! EVERY NOW AND AGAIN SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL TURNS UP- THIS IS ONE SUCH LP- THE VINYLS ARE TOTALLY UNPLAYED AND THIS HAS BEN STORED AWAY AS A LIBRARY FILE COPY SINCE IT WAS PRESSED IN 1976

THE VINYLS   MINT  UNPLAYED   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly PRIZED 1st HEAVYWEIGHT pressing  - Stored from new this LP SET HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED!

SIMPLY AS GOOD AS IT GETS HERE..

We can see no spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES.

BOTH VINYLS DID NOT BUDGE FROM THE INNERS , AND THEY BOTH SHOW NO WHISP, LINES, OR ANY SIGNS OF HANDLING..QUITE SIMPLY AS GOOD AS YOU COULD POSSIBLY SEE

STRAIGHT OUT THE BOX AS IF BRAND NEW FROM 1976!

Correct MATT first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with square SUPER WIDE spine.  Later copies are thinner rounded spine.

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.

CLEAN AS THE DAY IT WAS PRINTED!

The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition -JUST THE TINIEST OF TIP RUB ON BOTTOM SPINE  CORNER

No  ringwear - OR  ring press .

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp as new condition -no wear at all.

The spine edge is 100% sharp and no squash or rub at all,  incredible, proud and as new.

THE GATEFOLD IS PRISTINE AS NEW TOO. WHITE AND PERFECT!

We cannot add any more than this! ITS MUSEUM CONDITION WITHOUT DOUBT.
