Description
For instant sale is an excellent/near mint condition ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING from 1971 copy of the outstanding CARAVAN album - 'IN THE LAND OF GREY AND PINK' with the code number SDL R1. The sleeve is in excellent/near mint condition with just a small amount of corner creasing and 'bumping' - this can be seen in photo 2. The spine is clear, sharp and easily readable as you can see in photos 4-6. The original inner sleeve is in very good condition. Both labels are in excellent, unmarked condition with very few 'spindle trails'. Please study the photos carefully to see the excellent condition of everything for yourself.
The record plays incredibly well with very little surface noise while the music is playing or inbetween tracks. For this reason I would class it as being in excellent or near mint condition. It is a first pressing from 1971 with the earliest '1D' matrices in the run-out grooves. I really think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album. Prior to posting I will wrap the record in bubble-wrap to prevent any chance of damage and then post using a proper record mailer. I will dispatch the item by second class post at the very latest the next working day after purchase so that it gets on it's way to you as soon as possible.
