Description
I have been collecting records for decades and the time has come for some of them to find a new home. Most will be in excellent condition, some have been in my family for years and remain unplayed. I will grade them all fairly and listen to most before listing.
All of them will be professionally cleaned before being sent.

Up for auction here is a Rare first Uk pressing of the Caravan Lp The Land of Grey and Pink on the brown Deram label. This was released in the Uk on Deram in 1971 Catalogue number SDL - R1.
It has the matrix numbers of ZAL- 10424P-1D and ZAL- 10425P- 1D.
The vinyl is visually in Very Good + condition and looks in very nice condition. There are a couple of light superficial marks and a couple of superficial scuffs on side 1 but visually it looks like a nice copy.
I have listened to the vinyl at high volume and it plays through really well. There is some occasional light background crackle but on the whole it plays nicely and sounds really good. However there is an annoying barely noticeable skip on track 1 on both sides. It comes at the same point so is possibly a pressing fault. However for me this did not distract and I still enjoyed listening to the record.
The labels are also in Very Good+ condition.
The original Robert Stace gatefold is in excellent condition.
Overall a really nice copy of this classic.

I use Record Collector ratings to grade my vinyl. These are :
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
