Here is an album which you don't see that often, especially in this condition! Caravans magnificent 1968 first and BEST LP!!!!Musically it is very much in the style of 1968 reminding me in parts to Pink Floyd's first LP with swirling organ, stereo panned guitars and harmonies, definately influened by"piper" and this is no doubt why it's keenly sought after. In my 20 years as a dealer, I have only acquired a couple of copies and this is about the best.Disc is in splendid condition, played just a handful of times on superb equipment. There are a few visible surface marks but the vinyl plays beautifully with just the slightest surface noise here and there on quiet passages.You will go far to find a much better copy for it's age but that is not ebay talk to cover up a lousy item, this is honest grading!VERVE/FOLKWAYS SVLP 6011.Clean undefaced labels. Cover has some creases and wear but otherwise a fine example to treasure! I test all my ebay items on my home office Goldring deck with a shure cartridge/styli at 2 grammes with no mono switch or filter to "sweeten the sound" and with the treble FULL ON to hear it at it's worse. I grade STRICTLY and in MOST cases, my customers from around the world tend to discover that what I supply is an item FAR BETTER than they expected. BID WITH CONFIDENCE! I try to take a decent picture but do allow for slight glare or blurring as I am not a professional photographer. Low, sensible starting price with no annoying reserve!
