Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
I am known on ebay for selling VERTIGO swirl/spiral albums from my vast personal collection, but I also have other albums on just as interesting labels such as HARVEST, DERAM, NEON, ISLAND, DAWN, B&C/CHARISMA, DANDELION etc which I am now putting up for sale.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --CARAVAN--IN THE LAND OF GREY AND PINK--1971-UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS ON THE LIGHT BROWN DERAM LABEL SDL R1
SLEEVE.... GATEFOLD and LAMINATED. This sleeve is very flat and square. The colours are fresh looking and there is no fading and only the tiniest amount of surface rub to this almost MINT laminated surface, NO LAMINATE LIFT, NO PEALING AND NO SPLITS there are some light creases. The closed edges are unsplit and are almost AS NEW N/MINT. The opening edges are in N/MINT condition. The spine has NO wear and it is fully readable N/MINT. There is corner tip wear. The front is in EX++ condition with NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKER RESIDUE, NO UNWANTED WRITING and NO STAINS. The rear of the sleeve is in the same EX++ condition with only some very, very light ring wear to the top edge. The inner gate fold is in EX condition with a little dicolouration along the white part (top edge). Overall this is a great condition sleeve for 36 years of age. EX++
THIS ALBUM HAS THE PREVIOUS OWNERS PERSONAL MARK ON THE SLEEVE AND A-SIDE LABEL, thankfully this is very small and neat.
LABELS.....THIS IS THE VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH LIGHT BROWN LABELS AND NOT THE LATER AND MORE COMMON RED LABELS. There is NO staining, stickers, residue or tears. There are light spindle marks on either side. EX/EX.
VINYL.....Original deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see very faint surface marks which are very light and cause no audible defects, there are no nasty scratches or marks . In normal daylight this album looks PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out that. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . EX/EX. Great copy!!
