Carl Orff: Oedipus der Tyrann
rare German first press "PROMOTIONAL" vinyl 3LP box set released in the 1960s on "TULIP" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo label with catalognumber 139251/53. On the labels there is a stamp stating "UNVERKAUFLICHES MUSTER" which translates into "SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE" ... The beautiful clothbound box with imprint lettering complete with booklet and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels no spindlemarks - vinyl looks unplayed! Highly acclaimed performance by Rafael Kubelik conducting the Munich State Symphony Orchestra & Chorus recorded with true audiophile soundquality. Carl Orff himself participated in the recording for this record set... see photos.
