Nice looking copy that has retained a good deal of its lustre. There are several light scuffs and scratches here and there however, and there is a light crackle on both sides throughout, as well as a pop or two. The recordings still sound very good underneath however, and a bit of tinkering with high filters and/or treble dials helps to isolate what is still a clear and powerful sound.
Despite its less than perfect condition, this remains a piece of genuine rock & roll history.
All records have been meticulously hand-cleaned and archived in either card sleeves, plastic sleeves, their original covers, replacement covers or a combination of the above. Further improvements to playing quality may be possible using cleaning machines, but is obviously not guaranteed.
Playing condition has been ascertained using an AT-VM95 SP/H cartridge designed specifically for 78rpm records.
