CARL PERKINS – “Whole Lotta Shakin’” (1958) Columbia-1234 original 6-EYE MONO WHITE LABEL PROMO EX/Strong VG+ (cover/record)

Super rare original rockabilly classic. These vintage albums almost never turn up in this sort of beautiful condition. Particularly an original 6-eye label promo!

This is an original pressing. Beautiful cover with almost no wear. There is one semi-pinhole in the top front cover near the top seam and a different one on the back cover near the top seam by the piece of sealing filament tape Columbia put in the middle of the top seam as part of its cover manufacturing process to keep the cover intact. The original white label promo MONO 6-eye label vinyl is beautiful with nice gloss and only some light hairline scuffs on each side. It plays well and is in incredible condition for its vintage age. Super nice. Conservative grading: EX/Strong VG+

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
