Description
Carlo Pes - Quisasevà\O meu violao
Italian pressing, CBS BA 121.031 (1963)
Very rare 45 by Carlo Pes and his group with music written by Armando Trovajoli. Both sides are killer scat samba jazz with heavy Brazilian influences: QUISASEVA is superb early I MARC 4 style groove with their classic percussions intro (also on TRAFALGAR SQUARE track from "I Solisti di Trovajoli" on Sermi, SUONI ARMONICI from Nelson GLP1005 and OH ALFREDO by Jula De Palma from "Al Sistina" Lp). Flip side, O MEU VIOLAO is even better with superb female scat vocals! Listen!
