Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (Cms 30-099), from 1964. Tense, film noir / gangster movie score and desirable item with Italian jazz collectors as it contains some fabulous modern jazz themes. Super-obscure mood music from a German-Italo production directed by Albert Zugsmith starring Hollywood pin-up / blond bombshell, Jayne Mansfield with Isa Miranda and Cameron Mitchell. Our soundclip opens with the infectious jump jazz / latin cu-bop of RITMI DI LATTA featuring tenor sax / vibes / bongos and guitar solos. More uptempo film noir jazz beat on SWING FRENETICO and afro cuban rhythms mixed into menacing orchestrations throughout the CACCIA SPIETATA theme. Lovely, late night jazz to the second half of INCERTO CANDORE and sinister jazz with sax solos to IN GIALLO theme. The rest of the soundtrack is dark, moody or romantic with manic strings / organ / woodwind etc. Savina plays some experimental piano on here too. Uncredited musicians but the jazz should appeal to fans of Franco Cerri / Basso Valdambrini and Nunzio Rotondo too. Bizarre and striking artwork sleeve with a grotesque, bloodied hand at the piano / a scared looking actress holding a gun and floating dead body in a baroque fountain pool (to back sleeve). Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition but all themes play with varying degrees of light surface noise. Some hairlines and faint, faded old pressing marks. Some soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). The laminated sleeve is in VG+ condition due to general spine wear and spine seam splitting (circa 2/3rds of the spine has split). Some wear to corners and edges. Some ring creasing / ring dirt marks from storage. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare OST Lp!!!
