CARMELL JONES – JAY HAWK TALK – PRESTIGE 7401 – M-/EX - & JIMMY HEATH – MONO
Recorded on May 8, 1965 in New York City, this Prestige session features Carmell Jones on trumpet, Jimmy Heath on tenor, Barry Harris on piano, George Tucker on bass and Roger Humphries on drums. SIDE A: JAY HAWK TALK; WILLOW WEEP FOR ME and WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED LOVE. SIDE B: JUST IN TIME; DANCE OF THE NIGHT CHILD and BEEPDURPLE. As this was produced by Don Schlitten, it was recorded at RLA Sound in New York. This is a MONO Recording
I have graded the vinyl as M- and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl on both sides of the LP is clean of any marks. The vinyl retains its original shine. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. There are a few marks on the label. The record jacket is in excellent shape with one very small taped seam on the lower right corner.
