The same year that Blues Creation gave us their amazing second album DEMON & ELEVEN CHILDREN, they recorded this collaboration with Carmen Maki. While it's not as consistently great as the aforemntioned album, it is a damn good seventies hard rock record. There's too much mellowed out stuff for my taste here, but Maki has a great voice, the bass is pummeling, and tracks like "Understand" and "Motherless Child" are truly great. There's a sort of Led Zep feel to the whole record, and the production is excellent.
