A superb jazz singer list from us this week. 1961 1st anywhere issue of Carmen McRae AT THE FLAMINGO IN LONDON UK EMBER 1ST Phil Seaman on drums in the British Jazz Piano trio led by Don Abney backing her. The nearest we come to a mystical hotspot in the history of modern British Jazz is the Flamingo. What a pity they went for all the tourist cliche photos on the front of this of London Life. What some of us crave is that doorway and inside the place!. Anyway, Carmen McRae was a musicians musician, loads of jazz singers shay she was their favourite, and I have quite a few of her lps and love them. This is a peach. Near mint record in an excellent minus sleeve, just a bit grubby. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type.
