I grade records under a strong halogen desk light. I've been doing this for decades, Occasionally I'll play grade to confirm my visual assessment..

Surface retains it's original luster, Record is flat, no warps, No writing on label, No spindle marks on the label, No stickers or labels, Very light scuffs from the paper inner sleeve,

The seams are worn and split, one side is taped and the other has come apart, some moisture damage, record impression marks, frayed top opening
We do not know how this record will sound when played on your system. The condition of your stylus, static electricity, failure to clean the new arrival BEFORE PLAYING, and tone arm tracking weight are a few of the many variables I can’t control. We can only make educated assessments on the record's condition, based on its visual appearance.
Buyers should be cautioned that every bid carries a risk that the purchased item will under-perform, or play worse than its visual grade may indicate. Keep in mind, a 60 year old 45 should be played with a mono cartridge and stylus. The tracking weight should be heavier to accommodate the mastering specifications inherent in this vintage pressing.
In addition, play-grading standards are utterly subjective. One man's light, tolerable surface noise is another listener's unbearable noise.
