Description
Carr/Kahl: "Communication1" 1971, USA/Grotesque GS 101. Disc is in beautiful EX to M- shape, cover is just about perfect except for a 2" top center seam split, still strong VG+. Very rare and excellent private LP by two fine acoustic guitarists, this has a feel similar to Davy Graham's Decca-era work to my ears, and Jorma Kaukonen is referenced as well with a fine instrumental version of "Today" (credited to Carr-Kahl... oops!). Vocals are scarce on this LP but one track has a stunning multi-tracked wordless female lead. This LP is quite a gem, and very rarely offered.

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
SHIPPING RATES:
USA: I can send this LP to you by Media Mail for $4.00, or by Priority Mail, which will be calculated after the auction using your zip code. Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take a month to travel 30 miles and in excess of two months to travel cross-country.
CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $8.00.
MEXICO: If you are in Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $12.00.
EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $16.50.
