Description

For your consideration, is this 1935, The Carter Family, "Album of Smoky Mountain Ballads", vintage song book. The book features words and music to 50 of the Carter Family's well known songs, popular on records prior to 1935. The songs list the corresponding 78 RPM record issue number on Victor, Bluebird and Conqueror. The book measures 9 X 12 inches and is in very good condition overall for the age. The cover shows some wear and a few 1/4 inch tears with a few small pencil markings. The spine shows wear on the edge. The pages are clean but show wrinkles and folds here and there.
