Any audiophile worth his or her tweeters knows that the CASINO ROYALE soundtrack has been on the TAS list since the great flood. And for good reason, too. The recording is mouth watering, to say the least.
Fact is, in all the years that I have visited the Consumer Electronics Show here in the States, no other record has been used for demonstration purposes as much as this disc, particularly cut 1 and 2 on side 1.
That this Phil Ramone production, in 1967, still holds it own against anything, is quite the sonic achievement, to be sure. Fact is, in audiophile circles around the world, it is simply hailed as the best soundtrack, ever, perhaps one of an elite company of 10 records deemed the very, very best.
This very rare copy, in fact, is factory sealed, and will first see the light of day in your hands.
A treasure that is a load of fun, to say nothing of being one of the finest sounding original mass-produced discs ever released.
