Description

Rare Transacord Steam Train Based Vinyl LP.
Transacord Ltd was a predecessor to the Argo Transacord Series, formed in 1961.
Probably produced by Peter Handford, but not credited.
As follows:
5042-3 'Castles'.
Recordings of GWR 4073 Class Locomotives.
Original May1959 10" Mono Pressing.
Condition Vinyl:  VG+/VG+.
Some minor surface marks, plays very well, some hissing on a Side 1 band (Castle Number 5069 - Isambard Kingdom Brunel) which is probably from the recording.
Played the whole LP and it was a pleasure, despite some background noise.
It is noted that both run out grooves do not stop the stylus on my turntable (the groove repeats at end of sides).
Condition Sleeve: VG
Minor wear and tear to sleeve, at edges, spine, and opening, some discolouring.
