Description
CAT STEVENS: Mona Bone Jakon, UK Pink Island 1970 1st Pressing LP, ILPS 9118 LP. Exceptional copy on the 'rough'/textured Pink Island ! label. Incredible find here, cover has a uncollapsed (meaning 'still square') back spine (which is very rare for this LP). Vinyl is clean! Av2 11, Bv2 11 matrixes. Each side has the 'STERLING' stamp in the matris area.
VINYL is graded MINT-, just a few ultra thin, barely visible sleeve-removal hairlines, seen under strong light ONLY. Beautiful Nr MINT looking vinyl that plays superbly Nr MINT all the way, with very clean noise-free sound – which is very rare for a 'Rough' label Island pressing, which are known to feature deeper, better sound, but also, typically, a bit of ground noise. Well, not this copy. Sonically this close to perfection – this LP just sounds great all the way.
COVER is MINT-, one of the very best I have seen for this LP! Please study the large pics closely to see all the details.
Comes with the original lyrics poly-inner is EXCELLENT condition!!! No splits.

To get shipping quote for a single LP, use shipping calculator. For auctions ending over 80 GBP, wait for invoice. For 80+ GBP orders an additional 8 GBP is charged for cover the 75 DKK registration fee (tracking number).
You will save shipping on Multiple items, of course. Wait for invoice and you'll see the combined shipping price. You will NEVER pay more than my actual cost, often you'll pay 10-15% less than is costs me.
Packing
Special german-made cruciform-mailers designed for multiple LPs are used even for single LP shipments. The boxes are oversized and provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to package. Addtional protection may also be used when nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge for packing materials.
Gradings
MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 2-3 times at most.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else, aside from possibly a barely visible and inaudible hairlines.
EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
VG, rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description for the actual faults.
Playgrading
I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Playgrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.
