MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB RECORDS # MFQR 1-035
Original MFSL Box from the hard to find and very limited UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) series by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Mobile Fidelity only released a total of eight UHQR titles on LP. The UHQR series was the highest quality MFSL version of this Cat Stevens album. Only 5000 copies were produced and they were pressed by the JVC Company on 200 gram Super Vinyl. The copy we are offering here has the hand numbered UHQR Certificate Of Authenticy #1093 enclosed, and the inner LP cover is also hand numbered #1093 on the back. This is truly an audiophile Holy Grail item- it gets no better than this!
Comes complete with the original UHQR Technical Specifications Manual, Two Pieces Of Inside Spongy Packing Material, Hand Numbered UHQR Certificate Of Authenticity, UHQR LP Jacket, poster board, and anti static inner sleeve.
CONDITION: The record grades a beautiful NM with only one super light scuff on Side Two, measuring less than 1 inch and not even close to being able to be felt on the grooves. The only thing keeping the outer box from grading NM is a top left edge split on the top part of the box. The Inner LP cover grades NM.

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.
With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting. Upon request, we will give your sealed LP's the same treatment.
All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.
