This record is in excellent condition. It has a few light spindle marks visible on the labels, but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything remotely serious but do have a couple of light lines visible in normal light. These are very minor however, cannot be felt and overall both sides are nice and clean. There are more extremely minor wispy lines and slight sleeve removal scuffs visible under very bright white light, but again nothing serious or sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat and there is only the slightest amount of movement in the record arm. This is incredibly minor and of course has no affect on the audio which is excellent overall. There is next to no surface noise with only the most miniscule trace in the run in and between tracks. The audio is crisp, clear, dynamic and has little interference of any note. The only thing I noticed was some extremely faint clicks just audible in the quieter parts of the last track on side 1. These are minor however and do no greatly impair this track. Other than this minor issue the album plays really well and the audio has next to nothing to criticise it on.
The textured sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners(pics),but the text along the spine is legible. There are no splits anywhere and the edge wear isn't severe but there is a tear up the bottom edge from the right corner on the rear section(see pics). Other than this all the edges are strong and the sleeve is solid all round. There is no pen marks anywhere but there is a small dent or scuff on the back in the central left area. This is pretty minor and is hard to see, but is there none the less. The sleeve has some age related grubbiness to the front(pics) and a few minor marks inside the gatefold, but nothing major and overall the sleeve is strong and in pretty good shape considering its fragile nature.
It includes its original plain blue Island inner which is in excellent- condition. This has no splits, tears, pen marks but some slight creasing and age related discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
