Details: - This is part of my Personal Collection which I have spent many years acquiring and I am gradually selling. This auction is for Tea For The Tillerman released by Cat Stevens. This is the original 1st UK Issue on the Pink `i` label with `Textured` inner gatefold, This was soon replaced as Island moved over to `The Palm Tree` label at ILPS 9131 so this was only available for a very short time making it a very rare release. Vinyl: (EX+) nice thicker vinyl, under very Bright Halogen Spotlights I can see sleeve removal marks, this is a very quiet acoustic based album and to my ears this copy plays great with only some minimal dust crackle, no jumps, sticks etc, a really nice copy of a rare album
Sleeve: (EX+) 1st Issue `E.J.Day` laminated Gatefold with matt finish textured inner (only on 1st issues), top spine and edges, some laminate `thumb` creasing which is usual on this sleeve, inside gatefold looks unmarked, great copy of a rare sleeve (see photos for complete overview)

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
