Tea For The Tillerman LP - CAT STEVENS (Colombia Island 10102)

Original 1974 Colombian stereo LP. Here's an oddity - original 1st Colombian pressing, released 4 years after it came out in the rest of the world. In addition, they used a deep groove pink i Island label, which had long been abandoned for the pink rim label in the UK & U.S. Very thin cover has held up remarkably well & looks quite alright. Back cover & labels have song titles written in both English & Spanish. With the plethora of spindle marks by the centre holes, it's obvious this disc was seriously enjoyed by previous owner(s), altho they apparently used a decent stylus & weren't careless in their handling of the disc - what's remarkable is how well it still sounds, playing MUCH MUCH better than it grades. Fairly rare record, I believe..

Disc = VG+ (downgraded due to a few soft scuff lines/marks, NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL; a surprisingly VERY NICE sounding disc, w/ very minimal background noise & barely any annoying pops & ticks; plays WAY better than the grade, a SOLID listen, definitely)

Cover = see pix; tiny wear in corners; name written in front upper right corner; small, very lite writing in pencil in front lower right corner; tiny chip/crack along front right edge; lite diagonal crack on front; writing on back; small chip in all seam corners; small 3/4" (.75 mm) crack in middle of spine; any questions?, please ask

Labels = see pix; name written on side A only; many spindle marks by centre hole, some extending a ways out on the label; very slight wear along centre hole
