Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring Cat Stevens.

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with a few very short, very light to light marks on side 2 grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint. I took the time to play thru both sections and noted only a very, very light surface noise such that might be heard on any record + a few scattered very, very light pops. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least 1/3 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.

If you want an audio grade of an entire record before bidding, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction. Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

If an audio grade is given, you can assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: Cat Stevens Title: Tea for the Tillerman Record: Black vinyl with the original shine with a few short very light to light marks on side 2 grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: White with black print. No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, some spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "MFSL-1-A# A035 SR/2 ORTOFON 30 MAY 80 MFSL 1035A 131". Side 2: "MFSL-1-035-BIX A SR/2 ORTOFON 30 MAY 80 142". Inner sleeves: A generic Columbia sleeve with a centered 2" seam split on the bottom. A different generic sleeve can be substituted, if requested. Cover: Corners slightly/moderately worn. Some seam wear, more so on the spine. Upper outer corner is barely split, maybe 1/4" at most. Slight general/ring wear. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers. Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent). Comments: Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least 1/3 of the way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. If an audio grade is provided (Please request well in advance of the end of auction), you can assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship LPs in 13x13x2 standard record mailers. Weight with box is 1 pound 2 oz. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.19 box = $4.41.

Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 15 oz. Shipping is $3.22 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.85 box/tape/packing = $5.07.
