This is a very RARE DOOM / Death Metal album: CATHEDRAL "Echoes of Dirges From the Nave" LP - Live at the Horst Lopo Club, Holland 6/4/1991!...UK Doom / Death Metal pioneers CATHEDRAL were at their best back in 1991 !!: straight brutal Doom featuring Lee Dorian, formerly with NAPALM DEATH! This cult album recorded LIVE in Holland in 1991 was released in a very limited Vinyl-only edition for diehard fans by MM Records in Mexico and distributed by Guttural Records Mexico .... contains Five songs of creeping sludgy Doom/Death brutality! Including CATHEDRAL's best songs and "Ebony Tears" and the set-closer "Mourning of a New Day", which is preceded by a totally heavy version of PENTAGRAM (USA) immortal classic "All Your Sins"! Essential Blackened DOOM!
You will hear the thick, monumentally epic guitar-power bulldozing forward in the darkness with near-psychedelic frequencies and atmospheric harmonics, plus massively heavy medieval vocals -- Yessir: old CATHEDRAL Live! The recording is excellent (probably straight off the sound-board), but RAW ('primitive' compared to Cathedral's immaculate studio-recordings); definitely only for diehard fans! SUPER RARE AND HARD TO FIND !! THIS COPY IS STILL SEALED !! NEVER BEEN OPENED !!! LP IS STILL SHRINK SEALED CLOSED !! the LP jacket has some ringwear + some corner bendage.. ( it is a 18 year old LP !!! ) probably from years of storage...LP plastic looks like strinkwrap is kinda " stuck " to the LP.... I dont wanna peel off the plastic since its shrinkwrapped.....but it looks in ok condition ( I cant swear on it !! ) dont bid unless you understand these terms...the LP is new unplayed ( obiviously ) since its still shrinkwrapped...so its a RARE find !! Im not sure 100 percent about the outer jacket so I had to include that disclaimer.... Its probably fine...!!! But I am just giving is this rating one LP collector to another... I am selling it " as is "....I definintly know its a RARE find especially since the LP itself is new condition . unplayed and mint !!!
