Here's an original 16" disc containing the complete 30-minute radio program "THE CBS RADIO WORKSHOP" as originally broadcast on April 6, 1956. This is the 11th program in the legendary series, titled "SPEAKING OF CINDERELLA (or IF THE SHOE FITS)" and starring VINCENT PRICE and LURENE TUTTLE. The program compares the historically familiar tale of Cinderella with a more jazzed-up modern Madison Avenue version. What a cast of supporting voice actors - HARRY BARTELL, VIRGINIA GREGG, JEANETTE NOLAN, VIC PERRIN, and many more. It's a sustaining broadcast without commercial announcements, but there is a plug for the following week's program at the end (plus one for the Sunday airing of a New York Philharmonic broadcast). Full CBS network closing.
See scans for views of both sides of the disc labels. The discs are clean and uncracked. There are no skips or scratches. I have not professionally cleaned the discs. These were recorded by San Diego State College and the recording is in incredible condition. Still in the original protective sleeve.
