Here is a recent find, and one I'm VERY pleased to be offering to you Psych/Prog collectors out there in EBAY LAND! MARTIN WALL - METAPHYSICAL FACELIFT (<NO LABEL>, 1977). A VERY rare and superb CANADIAN ONLY effort by one MARTIN WALL who plays everything from Polymoog, Cat Synthesizer, Piano, Mellotron, String Ensemble (as the LP says) and even SINGS to boot (w/ occasional back up by various players)! This LP is VERY UNKNOWN, and is on MANY WANTLISTS!!!! I've only seen one other copy than this one, and this is because it is *ONLY* found in HAMILTON, ONTARIO, CANADA (Hamilton is a city of about 500,000 35 minutes away from Toronto). Based on my hearing the other copy, the music is VERY acid-influenced, it seems... pretty psychadelic, but also quite progressive. Check out WWW.LYSERGIA.COM for more information. To be honest, I'm no expert on this music, but I can say that it'll be RIGHT up your alley if you're into prog/psych w/ synth-instrumentation.
