SAVOY LP (MG 12147)
Maroon SAVOY Labels with Silver Print - DEEP GROOVE Labels - RVG is machine stamped in the dead wax.
1959 SAVOY Pressing; originally issued as STATUS S1203 in 1955.
Music recorded May 19 & 22, 1955, in NYC.
CECIL PAYNE Quartet and Quintet - CECIL PAYNE baritone sax - DUKE JORDAN piano - TOMMY POTTER bass - ART TAYLOR drums; KENNY DORHAM trumpet.
RADIO STATION COPY.
Vinyl is VG/VG++ Condition -  Vinyl Looks Very Nice;  a few marks, light and minor scratches;
nice gloss; nice labels with spindle wear and mark, radio station catalog sticker on side 1 label.
 Jacket is in VG Condition - Front of jacket looks nice, nice color, gloss and artwork, radio station catalog sticker  on jacket front, catalog tape on side seam; ring wear. Jacket shows some wear, side seam has been repaired with clear tape; some age discoloration. Back of jacket looks good, some minor age discoloration and ring wear; some DJ marks and notes.

Vinyl is visually graded. I do play and record all LP's. I generally think that they all play fine.
Older LP's will generally play with some background noise.
