Description

CEIL CLAYTON "Self-Titled" RARE 1960 NORMAN 300 Jazz Vocal LP! Hard to find album by Ceil Clayton a jazz vocalist who sang at Mister D's located in Gaslight Square in St Louis. She was originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts and studied for a year at the New England Conservatory of Music. This album on Norman Records (NL-300) is her only known recording. Cover is in VG to VG+ condition with light wear and a small 2" split on top seam at opening.  Vinyl is VG with light overall scratches and has been TEST PLAYED and plays through fine with minor background noise EXCEPT for Side Two, Track Four that has some additional clicking and hissing during part of the song.
