Description

Meisterwerke der Kammermusik - masterworks of chamber music; works for cello and piano (Werke fur Violoncello und Klavier). Sonatas for cello and piano by Chopin (op.65), Grieg (op.36), Franck (arr. for cello & piano by L. Rose / R. Casadesus), Pfitzner (op.1), Strauss (op.6) and Janacek (Pohadka - Maerchen 1910 / Presto). Esther Nyffenegger plays cello and Gerard Wyss plays piano. Superb performance !!!

Label: Armida EN-143/45. The vinyl of these three Swiss stereo LP's is ex to nm. Beautiful complete 3LP box set. Booklet included. VERY RARE !!!
