Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have a very large collection of vinyl and I am selling some more so that I can buy some more!? I will always offer either very nice copies of great music or maybe an album in poorer condition if it is particularly rare. I will be selling vinyl on many different labels including:- CHARISMA/B&C, HARVEST, PEGASUS, RCA NEON, ISLAND, DAWN, ETC ETC...

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --CENTIPEDE--"SEPTOBER ENERGY"-- 1971 UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRINTING SLEEVE.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, and UN-LAMINATED. This is the very first print of this sleeve in heavy weight card printed and made by HOWARDS PRINTERS (SLOUGH) LTD.   It is very flat and square.  This one has survived it's nearly 40 years in brilliant condition, like most white sleeves they usually are offered for sale in very poor grubby and stained condition, BUT NOT THIS ONE.....Although not quite mint it is still in superb condition. The bottom edge is in MINT condition with NO shelf wear and NO splits. The top edge is also MINT condition with  NO wear and NO splits. The front is EX condition and only suffers with a very light wear and a couple of surface wounds which are small and not easy to see( please look at the close-up pictures below,  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO RUBBING,  NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS  AND NO STAINING. The rear  is in  similar EX+ condition. The inner gatefold is in SUPERB MINT condition. The opening edges  are in lovely N/MINT condition, RAZOR SHARP with no tears or feathering. The spine is very square and all the information is clear and fully readable.  There is minimal wear to the tips of the corners. ( please see the close-up picture).  All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 38 year old sleeve. EX(+).

THIS ALBUM COMES WITH BOTH ORIGINAL BLACK, POLLY-LINED INNER SLEEVES IN SUPERB CONDITION, WHICH IS CORRECT FOR THIS FIRST PRESSING. IT IS IN EX+ CONDITION. These usually turn up in a very sorry state, VERY NICE.

LABELS.....All I can say is MINT/MINT

VINYL....  All four sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see very very few very light surface hair lines which are caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. The audio reproduction of this pressing is perfect in all frequencies, it is so clear and crisp..top.. There are a small amount of dust crackles that can be heard only in the very quiet parts of the music.This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX+/EX+ very nice!!

 THIS ALBUM IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS RARE IN THIS 'SUPERB' CONDITION.

I only use top quality packaging each album is cleaned on a VPI machine, packaged out side of the sleeve/s to prevent seem splits during transport, stiffened with 2 stiffeners, wrapped in bubble wrap, and the posted out in a brand new highest quality 'cruciform' mailer.
