Description

The two sleeves have an identical front. The rear of the sleeves are identical too, except that one says "FIRST RECORD SIDES 1 AND 4" and the other says "SECOND RECORD SIDES 2 AND 3" in the top right hand corner. White label private pressing.
CONDITION - Both LPs have no spindle tracks on the label, there are some faint marks on the vinyl but otherwise the vinyl is bright. There are the occaisional background 'pops' but overall the sound is better than very good given that this is a pressing made from a tape recording. One of the sleeves has a small tear but, overall, the sleeves condition is better than very good.
Other Information - Vinyl pressing of a live performance, there are 11 musical numbers (see scans) interspersed by extended spoken passages. The accompaniment is by a 4 piece band.
The references I can find to the Cephas Youth Club are associated with a St Georges West Church in Edinburgh (however given the lack of Scottish names in the cast list is there another possibility ?)
I can find no information about this double LP on the Internet, it should be of interest to collectors because it was released through Deroy Sound Services who were responsible a a number of collectable folk LPs. Given that, it is possible that this item may possibly sell for more than £20, if this is the case I reserve the right to send the item "signed for" which will mean a further charge.
