Description
Paxton Quigley’s Had the Course / You Need Feet (Columbia 4-44660) Paxton Quigley's Had The Course was used in the American International film "3 IN THE ATTIC" The film was released Dec, 20. It got mixed reviews but became quite successful in the first part of 1969. Chad Stuart wrote the film score. In the film an edited version of the song can be heard over the opening sequence and the end credits. Interestingly the soundtrack album released by Tower Records substituted Chad and Jeremy's version with a re-recording done by Max Frost and the Troopers, which was released as a 45, too. (April 1969)
Stock copy with limited picture sleeve. It had a limited picture sleeve too, showing a Nazi Rally at Nuremberg and on the other side Hitler speaking in front of his followers!! No kidding!! Stock copies, promo copies with both songs and the PS are from October 1968.
Special Rush Re-service promos with the song on both sides (no PS) are from March1969.
Finding a USA stock copy is virtually impossible.... until NOW!!!!! Also included with the 45 record is a short review of the song from the time of its release, probably from a Milwaukee Sunday paper. I am the original owner of this 45, having to purchase it after seeing the movie 3 in the Attic. Record plays very well (yes I have a turntable!). The record sleeve does have rings from storage. Bid high & often... I'm retired now!!!!
