Description
Rare 7" from California hardcore legends CHAIN OF STRENGTH on released on Mindpower Records in 1991 (third press, third mix and on Mindpower, limited to 800 copies with the yellow sleeve, Foundation Records labels). One of the most influential and amazing hardcore bands of all time. OF ALL TIME. If you don't know CHAIN, where have you been? Quasi-straight edge hardcore band from California, releasing records on Foundation, Revelation, Mindpower and First Strike Records.
"What Holds Us Apart" is their second, more introspective release, featuring 4 songs of awesome melodic hardcore. Vinyl is in very good condition on both sides as is the artwork. Includes original insert. If you've only heard the remastered/ruined version that Revelation re-released on LP and CD you need to hear this one! Chris Bratton, the drummer, said he wasn't to happy with the mix on this as there's too much reverb and Curtis, the singer, loses his vocals in the mix. That's what makes this so much better - the vocals are fighting with the guitars to be heard.

This is because neither of us wants to be disappointed, nor do we want important pieces of HC history to get damaged or disappear.
