CHAIN OF STRENGTH - “What Holds Us Apart” 7” First Strike
So this is the limited blue vinyl version of this classic ep. Now be warned - both sleeve and vinyl are damaged! I wouldn’t normally sell a record in this condition… but as it is so sought after… and throwing it away seems just plain wrong (as I also own a decent copy, so this one has zero use for me).
If I remember right, this copy was a leftover from a friends distro box back in the day, god knows what he did to it, probably fell on the floor at a show or something (?) it‘s what the condition indicates.
So, as well as a crease running diagonally across the sleeve, the vinyl is scuffed and marked on both sides. However, it does still play ok! Side one is bad, there is a lot of surface noise just under the music (being such a powerful wall-of-noise recording does at least help disguise this). Side two isn’t so bad, just the occasional snap crackle pop. It looks worse than it sounds, but if you have high standards when it comes to collectible records - avoid!
Oh yeah, this was the UK release on First Strike, licensed from Foundation Records. Hand numbered 1165 out of 1500.

This is from my over-sized record collection: predominantly punk, but in the broadest sense of the word.
The process of weeding out, as the saying goes. To make room (and money) I’m finally getting rid of the unloved and the unplayed. They deserve a more appreciative home than mine. Running a punk distro for 10 years has left me with a surplus of unnecessary records. From early ‘80s anarcho up to ‘90s emo (and everything in between: crossover, grindcore, power violence, straight edge, screamo etc.) if I don’t remember how it sounds - out it goes.
Most records I’m listing for auction were never really played and as a consequence are in good condition. Any sleeve marks, blemishes or defects will be pointed out. Same goes for the vinyl. I have a couple of hundred 7”s and 12”s to sell over the next few weeks. So watch out.

The photograph doesn't quite reveal how dirty and scuffed the sleeve and vinyl actually are.
I hope I have already made this clear, but any non-English speaking types may not have understood this,
