Description
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD - EVERYTHING’S TUESDAY / BLESS YOU (NORTHERN SOUL)
Back in 1969, song writers and record producers Holland/Dozier/Holland, left Motown to set up their own record labels - “Invictus” and “Hot Wax” . Many great records followed.
Here’s one of them ! This was Chairman Of The Board’s 3rd UK single on Invictus and it’s a timeless classic with two great sides.
The record I’m listing now in the original 1970 UK press on Invictus INV 507. The Flip side another floor-filling track - “Bless You”.
Well looked after since I bought it new, the record is in excellent condition with just a touch of shading on both labels following the removal of a small index sticker. (See Pics)
If you’ve looking on EBay for an excellent press of this one to add to your collection, mine’s up for grabs now with a low start of just 99p.

……………………………….....................................................................
I started selling off my cherished Northern Soul record collection way back in Sept 2014, and I’m now nearing the end of my weekly NS listings.
I still have a few Northern Soul Records left to sell though, together with a fairly large number of Motown and Philly Records & plenty of 70’s “Funk & Soul” Classics, all of which I’ve decided to keep listing in the “Northern Soul” section, to keep things simple :-
Saturday (AM) - Old Soul, Motown / Philly / Northern Soul
Sunday (AM) - 70’s “Funk, Soul & Disco”
Many thanks to all of you who have been following my listings and bidding.
Keep The Faith!

MY RECORDS - I’M A PRIVATE SELLER NOT A RECORD DEALER!
All the records I list for sale are part of my very own personal collection, which I purchased way back in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
I bought my records brand new, from reputable UK Record Shops, apart from some early Soul imports that I bought new direct from the States, together with a few US imports that I managed to buy (or borrow) off friends.
All my records have been well looked after. They’ve been kept in card sleeves and stored upright in professional wooden record boxes to prevent any warping, damage or deterioration, and for the last 35 years they’ve remained un-played!
Unlike some records offered for sale on EBay, that may have changed hands several times from one person to another, the records that I list have been kept since new as part of my very own cherished collection. That’s why they’re in such great condition!
COMBINED POSTAGE FOR UP TO 3 RECORDS
The cardboard mailers I use can hold up to three records. I’m therefore happy to combine postage, for 3 records max, over the weekend auction period, with just a small supplement of 30p per additional record, to cover the extra postage weight, as follows :-
2 records - £2.30
3 records - £2.60
I’ll send an invoice with the combined reduced postage cost, so please wait before paying.
Records up to £20 in value will be sent by Standard First Class Mail, (With retained Proof of Posting)
Records exceeding £20 in total value will be dispatched using First Class Recorded Delivery, so please make sure that someone will be in at your address to sign for the package. Thank You.
RECORD PACKAGING & DISPATCH DETAILS
All records will be securely dispatched in new white card sleeves, using high quality, purpose-made, corrugated cardboard record mailers, within one working day, following confirmation of payment.
Please note, that due to problems with overseas postage, I now only offer my records to bidders within the UK.
RECORD GRADING EXPLANATION
Record grading is quite a subjective process, and I appreciate that buyers’ expectations will differ.
I always try though, to give an accurate and honest description of all my records, using the definitions and explanations stated below.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any of my descriptions or grading, please do not hesitate to contact me.
NEAR-MINT
The record has all the appearances of a new record with little sign of having been played. Both labels will be perfect unless otherwise stated.
EXCELLENT
The record shows some minor signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Both labels will be perfect unless otherwise stated.
VERY GOOD
The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some surface marks and/or the occasional light scratch. Both labels will be in excellent condition unless otherwise stated.

STYRENE RECORDS
Some of my early US import records were pressed on styrene rather than vinyl.
Styrene is generally less resilient than vinyl and is more prone to the occasional “pop and crackle”. Please bear this in mind when bidding.

PRICING
I don’t use inflated “Buy Now” options or set unrealistically high start prices.
Most of my listings start with opening bid of just 99p, with no reserve, regardless of the likely higher value suggested by previous EBay sales or record valuation websites. Occasionally though, I may list a more obscure or rarer record with a higher starting figure, but it will still be considerably less than its estimated value.
Sometimes I get a good price and at other times the buyer gets a bargain, but that’s all part of the fun of EBay.
Q & A
If you have any questions or comments about any of my records, please feel free to contact me. Many Thanks.
