A truly stunning find from a friends collection, who i am selling this on the behalf of. He got the album from a shop fitter who had been clearing out the back of a shop called "Baby World" that had also sold new records up until the mid to late 70's. They unbelievably sold Prams & Records! I've included pictures of a master bag from the shop.
They only shut down quite recently, but the shopfitters found a lot of vinyl in a back room. My friend bought some singles from one of them & there were just a few albums including this one. When he asked if he could see the rest, he was told that they had been skipped & they had only managed to save a few.
It's a Stereo Original unboxed Decca in a front laminated sleeve with correct poly lined inner sleeve. The only sign of play i could find was one spider mark. I imagine this was from playing it in the shop for a customer, something we had to do when we had a shop selling new releases. I've played it once & playback is simply superb, crisp & loud. I have not cleaned it & won't do, it only has some storage dust. So probably only two plays in its whole life. Can't see anyone being able to upgrade this copy.

The sleeve is in near mint condition with no wear. If i was being overly critical i could only say it had the slightest touch of shelf wear, after all it's been on one for years. The inner sleeve is in near mint condition too, nice & crisp.
The labels are in near mint condition with no spindle wear & just one spider mark. The vinyl retains its original deep gloss sheen with no signs of being played, it just has storage dust on it. Playback on our system was absolutely superb & it is a sensitive set up.

Please note that this grading has nothing to do with the age of the record, we grade all records the same whether they are 40 years old or 4 days old.
For the last 20 years we have been looking through 100's & even 1,000's of records every week, but we still only pull out a tiny percentage to sell on.
Condition
Sleeve: Near Mint (No tears, splits, writing, bends or ringwear) Record: Near Mint (still has its original sheen with no signs of being played, No scratches, hairlines or scuffs. Probably only played twice since new & audio is just so nice) Our grading is strict so as not to disappoint, we have been selling on ebay since 1998 & know how important this is. Grading of records is done with the record angled under a 100 Watt bulb. Scans are of actual item up for auction. All records are packed securely & most importantly packed outside of the picture sleeve (in a plain inner sleeve) so as to avoid seam splits during shipping.SHIPPING COSTS

Near Mint
Almost mint.Very minor paper scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve but obviously it had been handled with extreme care.Any flaw should be very hard to see. The cover should look as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. Minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) may be acceptable, however the artwork should be as close to perfect as can be.
Excellent
An excellent condition for vinyl will allow minor scuffs (Scuffs lay on top of the grooves) which are visible but only slightly.The wear should be minimal.The play should be close to perfect as well. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear. Some slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. The corners can show a little white, meaning slight wear. No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs.
VG++
As Excellent but with a larger number of scuffs, maybe a couple of hairlines (very light scratch that can't be felt) or a couple of marks. Sound quality should still be very close to that of an Excellent record with only minor crackle in quiet segments only, NO scratches that can be felt. Cover as Excellent but there may be a small seam split on the cover, or a very minimal amount of writing like a name written in small writing or a number. A VG++ record should be an acceptable record to live with if you aren't looking to pay the price of a Near Mint copy.
