Continuing JAZZ auction series of original Classic Jazz, Bop, Cool Jazz plus select jazz vocal and pop vocal LPs and 10" albums -followed by some choice avant garde and outside jazz plus original issue Brazilian / Bossa Nova / Samba and Latin Jazz/Percussion artists as well as a few very rare Experimental/Electronic LPs.

Labels included here are Blue Note, Prestige, Roost, Clef, Nocturne, Discovery, Contemporary, Pacific Jazz, Verve, Atlantic, Folkways, Arhoolie, Odeon, Finnadar, ECM, WATT, BASF, Impulse, CTI, Capitol, RCA Victor and a few others. Most of these records are in VG+ to VG++ condition, with a few NM and a few VG ...many quite scarce.

~Extremely clean with no wear, creases or soil. Very faint mark at upper left corner. Unfaded paste-on cover sheet and textured black stock cover are harp-edged and crisp all around. Seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits.

VINYL: NM
~Faintest sleeve mark visible in hard bright light, one side only. LP plays like new throughout. Silver on blue FOLKWAYS labels are immaculate.

One of the earliest -and hardest to find of Champion Jack Dupree's albums -long out of print.

FIRST PRESSING with Folkways 121 w. 47th St. NYC address on both label and booklet. Booklet also has the original Printer's Union 159 seal.

4-page booklet in divider pocket has all lyrics, biographical essay and FOLKWAYS catalog on back page (not even showing this LP yet in their listing -newest FS series issue shown in "NEW RELEASES" is FS 3805.)

For all dunderheads that don't know what "HARP EDGED" means
...well, neither do I. That SHOULD have read: "Crisp edged and sharp cornered all around".
"harp-edged and crisp"!?? I guess that's what will happen when you talk too much - in too much of a hurry,
with two fingers; like I do. My apologies for the obtuse typo!

This cover is simply in beautiful, just out of the wrapper condition on all sides, which I was trying to say,
in my far too hurried manner. GREAT LP!
