A rare first pressing on the highly collectible Blue Horizon label from this extraordinary American barrelhouse piano player and one-time resident of Halifax, Yorks.
The list of backing musicians is testament to the regard in which he was held by his peers - among them Duster Bennett, Paul Kossoff, Simon Kirke and Stan Webb all of them Blue Horizon stalwarts.
The album has been owned from new and is in great condition except for a couple of defects in the vinyl quality - see details below.
A super record which I have had professionally cleaned on a Keith Monks machine.

- The vinyl is in generally very good condition with some light surface marks. On A3 and B3 there are some small raised nodules which I think must be faults in the manufacture. The bumps on A3 don't affect the play back quality in my opinion. On B3 there are 5 or 6 faint "pops" but the stylus doesn't skip. I've tried to take some photos (see above) which aren't great but you can see that the grooves flow through OK.
- The laminate fronted sleeve is in excellent condition with a very small amount of edge and corner wear and a label mark on the back.
- The spine is clearly readable.
- The labels are clean and unmarked.
- The plain white paper inner is clean and undamaged.
All my records are posted in LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners.
