I have for auction from my own collection this superb original copy of this Champion Jack Dupree release.I have only played this album once since i purchased it.This is a US Blue Horizon issue and is in stunning condition.The stunning heavyweight card sleeve is in near mint as new condition.It has a perfect spine,no splits or edge wear and looks as new.It is hard enough to find a UK copy in this condition but a US one virtually impossible.These heavy card American sleeves are very prone to splitting etc but this one is in amazing condition.The white sleeve rear is as clean and fesh as the day it was printed.The heavyweight vinyl is also as new and completely unmarked.There is a tiny speck which was pressed into the vinyl when manufactured but this gives just two very faint clicks during playback.Otherwise when played on my £18,000 Linn Naim system the pressing is superb with no other surface noise.I will grade the vinyl as near mint without reservation,appart from the tiny speck it is totally blemish free.The labels are are crisp and clean,with no spindle marks. Original Blue Horizon copies of this album are very rare and collectable.Paul Kossof,Simon Kirk and Stan Webb play on this album which makes it a very desireable item for fans of Free and Chicken Shack.I have seen copies of this album sell for very high prices,they have a very high value attached to them.
