Description

I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.

Here we have a very rare UK pressing of the original version of CHAN ROMERO'S non-hit,that was covered by The Beat's, The Swinging Blue Jeans etc. "The Hippy Hippy Shake". For me this version beats them all for it's raw energy,but then you often get that from the writer of the song! What makes this extraspecial is it has the pre-comercial stamper codes,reserved for DEMOS,well before "G"s or "R"s etc. there is one stamper (with no mother code) reserved only for DEMOs  or known in the industry at the time as "Journalist Review"- "JR". This has "JR" stampers on both sides. Very VERY nice to find, specially on such a title!
Record Condition: VG- a decent dusting of very light surface marks, but absolutely nothing deep. The general dusting,doesdullen the mirror-like qualities that this record will once have had, and a little vinly presence/static can be heard in the quietest passages (ie in this case the silence before the song!). But the track plays through very nicely,with all the raucus vigour that for me, noneof the other verions ever had.
Labels Condition: G+ Sadlythe central4 prong disc has been removed, and then someone has tried to replace one but it hasn't remained and has left some staining a small torns patch at 9 o'clock on the B-side.  Anyway,not the best labels, but a nice playing disc, and fantatsicly rare JR Demo stampers
